Our Family's Story in Northeast Florida

We have always believed that, in order to be the best, you have to do what your competitors are not willing to do. For more than half a century, Ed's Comfort Solutions has served Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia by going above and beyond to make sure our neighbors are comfortable—year-round and year after year. That mindset started with the founder of our company, who put authenticity and integrity at the center of everything from day one.

Our story goes back to 1967, when former United States Navy Officer Richard D. Edwards—known to everyone as “Ed”—opened the doors of Ed’s Appliance Repair, Inc. right here in Yulee. Our family started helping people solve their heating and cooling troubles with a handshake and a promise to do things right. It was not just about appliances and equipment. For us, business was always about helping people live comfortably and breathe easier, and every decision Ed made set the path we still follow now.

When Ed was ready to step back and enjoy his retirement, his son took the reins and carried those values forward. In 1993, we changed our name to Ed’s Comfort Solutions, Inc., but we were committed to keeping “Ed” up front—always honoring the approach and standards Ed had built. We are grateful to have built a reputation in the community that has lasted through the generations, reflected today in our high customer satisfaction and strong online reviews.

As a Trane Comfort Specialist, we offer state-of-the-art, energy-efficient Trane HVAC products along with comprehensive services for all makes and models of air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-split systems, heating equipment, indoor air quality solutions, and thermostats. When we say “authentic service,” we mean that every person on our team has a hand in making customers happy. That is something we are truly proud of.
